Albrook "Marcos A. Gelabert" International Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto Internacional de Albrook "Marcos A. Gelabert" (IATA: PACICAO: MPMG)) is a public airport located 1.5 km (0.93 mi) west of the center of Panama City, in the Panama Province of the country of Panama.[1] It is located on the site of the former Albrook Air Force Station. Previously, the airport was located in the area of Paitilla, operating approximately 70 years until January 1999, year where the airport started operations in Albrook. The name was changed in honor to the Panamanian aviator Marcos A. Gelabert, who made a great contribution to the Panamanian aviation by founding the first airline and school for training pilots and who died in a plane accident in the region of Calobre, province of Veraguas. As today, the name remains changed.

There are daily flights to every major town and cities in Panama via Air Panama and Aeroperlas, including David. The airfare (one way) from Albrook Airport to David is approximately 80.00 USD + Taxes and there are usually 2 to 3 flights a day. (There are no flights from Tocumen International Airport to David.)

Recently, the airport is receiving some maintenance in their structures, runways and lights to receive international airliners in the future and a construction of a food court in the terminal area to make the passengers have more facilities in the airport while waiting for their flights.
